South London label SLOW DANCE have proven themselves to be a reliable source of exciting new music. Their latest output, and first split release with Zurich-based BlauBlau Records, is the haunting debut from Swiss avant-pop duo DIVVAS. Drawing from respected sonic touchstones from The Knife to Scott Walker, 'Koac' pairs metallic textures with immersive production techniques; veering between sparse trip-hop and brief, discordant full band intersections before settling into a pure yet unsettling refrain: "don't you worry if the world gets so blurry... wasn't it worth it?" Accompanied by a beautifully-shot video directed by Florian Hinder, 'Koac' is lifted from DIVVAS forthcoming EP Challenger Deep and we caint wait to hear more. -Holly Mullineaux
